What’s the role:
We are currently seeking a motivated Senior Accountant to join our company. The ideal candidate should be able to facilitate various activities, like tax returns, general ledger, bank reconciliation, and financial reports, and to keep information and finance-related business reports confident. He or she should be detail-oriented and support other departments and any stakeholders in the financial area. This position will work under the Accountant Lead to produce various reports and recommend financial actions by analyzing accounting options.
What you bring to the table:
● 3-5 years of experience of financial accounting experience
● Assist with financial audits and financial statement preparation, and financial consultation
● Files federal, state and local tax documents by preparing sales tax returns, payroll tax returns and other tax-related tasks
● Comply with federal, state, and local financial, legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions
● Reconcile the company's bank statements and general ledgers
● Support month-end and year-end close process
● Perform assigned duties as needed
Who will be the best fit:
● A BA/BS degree in Accounting, or an equivalent field is required
● 3+ years of proven experience as an Accountant or similar role
● Bilingual in English and Mandarin is required
● Experience with tax returns, reconciliations and auditing
● Experience with financial statement preparation and facilitating bank reconciliation ● Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
● Accuracy and attention to detail
● Experience with accounting software and data entry
